Coastline Elderly Services will host a wine and beer tasting fundraiser on Friday, June 2 at Howland Place in New Bedford at 6 p.m.

Douglas Wines and Spirits will provide wines and beers for guests to try. There will also be music, an array of hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and a silent auction.

The wine and beer tasting will assist underfunded programs at Coastline, a nonprofit that serves New Bedford, Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Marion, Mattapoisett, and Rochester. The agency’s programs include Meals on Wheels, Foster Grandparents, home care and community services, supportive living and senior employment, among others.
