Coleen Santos, 64
Coleen (Coulombe) Santos, 64, of South Dartmouth, passed away on March 12, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer.
She was the beloved wife of Robert Santos with whom she shared nearly 40 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Robert and Maureen (Robinson) Coulombe, she lived in Vernon, CT before returning to southeastern Massachusetts where she met her husband.
Santos worked as a teacher’s assistant at DeMello Elementary School for over 30 years. In her spare time, she loved to tend to her garden, animals, arts and crafts and she especially loved her “kids” at DeMello School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Nicole Santos of Ludlow and Kelly Santos of Dartmouth; siblings, Donna Coulombe Mackie, Lynn Coulombe Cabral and Sean Coulombe; in-laws, Theophilo and Hope Santos and countless family members. She was predeceased by siblings, Sharon Coulombe Donovan, Dawn Coulombe Laroche, and Tammy Coulombe Morrison and her beloved aunt, Helen Robinson.
