Constitutional Writes
Event Date:
An event with both rights and writes. Experience what it was like to be a founding father by writing the constitution out by hand at the North Branch Library on Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Notebooks and copies of the Constitution will be provided, but guests must bring their own writing tool. Guests can stay and write for the full two hours or as short as preferred.
This is a time for patrons to reflect internally, and there will be no political debate.
Handwriting the Constitution was a project started in 2017 that invites people to familiarize themselves with the rights of Americans, but also to explore writing by hand.
This event is free and registration is not required. The North Branch Library is located at 211 Cross Road.
