Players from the Mattapoisett Community Tennis Association recently held a senior tennis singles and doubles match. The team includes players from Mattapoisett and Dartmouth.

In the senior tennis singles final, Tony Fera of Dartmouth defeated Mattapoisett’s Doug Simon.

The Dartmouth doubles team had a narrow victory over the Mattapoisett team. Dartmouth doubles players were Al Humphries, Mike Hickey, Harold Kaufman, and Tony Fera.

The Mattapoisett team featured Syl Landry, Doug Simon, Wayne Miller and Henry Quinlan.

“There was some great tennis played and enjoyed by everyone,” said team member Mike Hickey.
