Dartmouth Grange film and potluck

The Dartmouth Grange is beginning their 2016-2017 Farmer Film and Potluck series on Friday, November 4.

The film series features documentaries and short films on food, agriculture, and the environment on the first Friday of the month. The program is free and open to the public.

The season kick-off will be "Smokin' Fish," a documentary about a young and quirky Tlingit businessman, Cory Mann, hustling to make a dollar in Juneau, Alaska. Hungry for smoked salmon and nostalgic for his childhood, Mann decides to spend a summer smoking fish at his family's traditional fish camp.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m.; potluck begins at 6 p.m. The 57-minute movie begins at 6:45.
