A 61-year-old Dartmouth man died following a single-vehicle crash on Oct. 28.

Dartmouth police responded to a reported crash on Prospect Street around 7:15 a.m. and found a 2008 Toyota Tundra with heavy front-end damage in the woods. 

Mr.moved to this area in 1967 and had worked in the construction field for many years.

Tony was President of the Stackhouse Club in Dartmouth, where he enjoyed going to and hosting events.

The driver, Antonio Vassal, of Dartmouth, was found at the scene dead. His cause of death is currently under investigation by the state’s Chief Medical Examiner.

The crash remains under investigation.

Mr. Vassal moved to this area in 1967 and had worked in the construction field for many years, according to his obituary. He was president of the Stackhouse Club in Dartmouth, where he enjoyed going to and hosting events.
