Dartmouth Police arrest Fall River woman driving stolen car

Dartmouth Police arrested Fall River resident Janessa Quino, 21, according to a police press release. Quino allegedly refused to stop for police after she was identified driving a stolen 2007 Toyota Corolla on Friday, Feb. 9.
After Quino refused to stop for police, Dartmouth Police Sergeant Paul O’Donnell deployed a device to safely deflate the stolen car’s tires, according to the release. The stolen car eventually came to a stop on Hathaway Road near Tradewind Street.
Quino was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for the police.
