An Independence Day vehicle stop led to the arrest of suspects accused of stealing tires and rims from a Dartmouth car dealership.

Dartmouth Police Officer Manuel DeMelo arrested Javier Nova and Kenneth Botelho, both of New Bedford, in association with the theft of the vehicle parts from Colonial Honda, located on State Road.

Both Nova and Botelho were charged with receiving stolen property in excess of $250, malicious destruction of property in excess of $250, and conspiracy.
