The donations will support children who have endured the stressors related to recent and past storms in Haiti, said the Rotary Club's Terri Hamm in an email. Hamm organized the project to underscore the importance of community service and the benefit of working together in service to others.

Nonprofit director Paul Deasy picked up collected the donations on December 15, and will take over the task of sending the clothing to Haiti, said Hamm.
