Dartmouth schools to offer free breakfast

The Dartmouth Schools will now be participating in the School Breakfast Program, as well as the National School Lunch Program. 

This means the schools will not only provide a free and healthy lunch to students, but due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision will now also provide free and healthy breakfasts. 

The Community Eligibility Provision was authorized by the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010 and allows students in high-poverty areas to receive free meals without having to fill out meal applications to determine eligibility.
