Dartmouth volleyball moves to elite eight with another dominant win

The student section was on its feet throughout the night, cheering the girls on to victory.
Dartmouth puts the final nail in the coffin.
Another one bites the dust.
The Dartmouth High volleyball team (4) moved on to the elite eight of the Division II playoffs on Monday, Nov. 7 after knocking off Canton (13) in three-straight sets.
“It’s nice to come into the tournament and not give up a set because then that changes momentum so quickly,” head coach Rachel Lassey said after the game.
Lassey’s team has yet to give up a single set in the playoffs across two games.
“For us if we can control serve-receive, with the offense that we have, that’s what matters,” she said. “So we try to stay consistent, and if we can stay consistent and run our offense, we’re in it with anybody — the best of the best — and that’s the plan.”
The team’s next game will be at home against Masconomet (12) on Friday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.
