Dartmouth Week bid 2023 goodbye last week by looking back on the year’s top headlines and reporters’ favorite photos. But one of the best subjects to photograph — pets and animals of all kinds — need their own moment in the spotlight as well.
From dogs to cats, from pigs to owls, Dartmouth Week took dozens of animal photos over the past year (many of them landing on the paper’s front page). These are some of our favorites.
