DNRT to host second annual trail race

Sep 12, 2016

The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust will host its second annual Trail Race and Walk on Saturday, November 5.

The 4.1-mile hybrid course will meander through farms, fields, and forests while incorporating two of DNRT's properties: the Slocum's River Reserve and Parsons Reserve. A one-mile stretch along Horseneck Road connects the two reserves to create a hybrid course that will test both speed and agility.

DNRT is also offering a 2-mile walk through Slocum's River Reserve for walking friends. After the race, there will be music by The Oh No's, beer from Buzzards Bay Brewing, and pizza from Domino's. Spectators are welcome.

Donations helps support land preservation, open space, and more than 35 miles of trail network owned by DNRT, which remains open for public access free of charge.

Register by October 24 to receive a long-sleeved t-shirts.
