DNRT's stargazing event postponed to March
The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust's stargazing event, originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 12, has been rescheduled due to anticipated inclement weather.
The event has been rescheduled for Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m. The walk will be held on at the Manny Rose Perry Agricultural Reserve and will be led by Gerald P. Dyck.
Dyck will lead participants in orientating themselves to the night sky and identifying major winter constellations and other points of interest. Parking for the walk will be on the west side of Barney’s Joy Road. Dress warmly and appropriately for the weather, and bring binoculars if you have them.
Check www.dnrt.org or the trust's Facebook page on the morning of the event for any weather related updates. Call 508-991-2289 with any questions.
