Don’t miss the Long Range Capital Planning workshops

The Long Range Capital Planning Committee is gearing up for a series of workshops designed to inform residents about major projects under discussion and to provide opportunities for community input.

The Committee has been focused on planning for Dartmouth’s future needs, and these sessions will highlight projects in three key areas:

• Community Services Workshop
  Tuesday, Sept. 9 | 6 to 8 p.m. | Maria Connor Center for Active Living
  Discussion topics: the Maria Connor Center for Active Living, the proposed Recreation Center and Memorial Stadium.
• Public School Workshop
  Wednesday, Sept. 17 | 6 to 8 p.m. | Dartmouth Middle School
  Discussion topics: a new roof and windows for Dartmouth High School, plans for a new Middle School, expansion of Demello and Potter Schools and repairs at Quinn School.
• Public Works Workshop
  Thursday, Sept. 25 | 6 to 8 p.m. | North Branch Library
  Discussion topics: drinking water treatment facility, wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure and Padanaram Bridge improvements.

These workshops are intended to educate and engage residents while giving them an opportunity to ask questions and participate in shaping the future of their community.
