Earth Day night hike, April 21

Mar 27, 2017

The Lloyd Center for the Environment will host a two-hour night hike for Earth Day on April 21. Visitors can head to the center's 430 Potomska Road location for 6:30 p.m.

Participants can expect to learn about nocturnal animals, the sounds that they make, and explore the woods to find where these creatures are hiding. Participants will also learn about the ways to make their own backyards more interesting for wildlife visitors.

Participants should dress for the weather.

For Lloyd Center members, the cost is $6 per individuals and $18 for a family of four; for non-members, the cost is $8 per individual and $24 for a four-person family. All ages are welcome.

Space is limited to 15 persons. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, April 20, 4 p.m. To register, visit lloydcenter.org/calendar. If you have specific questions, contact Educator/Outreach Specialist Ashley Gesner at summer@lloydcenter.org.
