Fall River man arrested on drug charges, again

Dec 22, 2018

For the second time in a week, a Fall River man was arrested by Dartmouth Police for allegedly dealing drugs.

According to police, Blake Donovan, 24, was arrested on Dec. 20 by Dartmouth detectives in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation. A total of 133 bags of suspected Fentanyl and $200 in cash was recovered by detectives.

He was charged with possession with intent to distribute a class A substance, and an outstanding warrant. The warrant relates to a separate drug investigation Donovan was arrested in connection to earlier in the week.

“This arrest is yet another outstanding example of this agency’s commitment of ridding the streets of these dangerous drug dealers,” said Dartmouth Police Chief Brian Levesque.
