The Dartmouth Police Department and Massachusetts State Police will host a family fun day at the Hope Evangelical Community Church located at 88 Hathaway Road on Saturday, Aug. 27.

The event, which runs from noon to 6 p.m., will feature food, a big splash bucket volleyball, and a chance to meet new people.

Kids can also get back-to-school haircuts between noon and 3 p.m. and volunteers will pass out100 backpacks filled with school supplies.

Rain date is Saturday, Sept. 10.
