Fire District No. 1 will host an open house on Sunday, Oct. 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at the fire station located at 10 Bridge St.

There will be equipment demonstrations, fire safety information, fun activities, fire extinguisher demonstrations, raffle prizes and refreshments.

Firefighters will also conduct car seat installation and provide a safety check.
