Beatles tribute Studio Two kicked off the annual Summer Concert Series at Apponagansett Park Wednesday night, and those in attendance got a beautiful night to take in the first show of the season.

Temperatures in the 70s greeted the dancing patrons, with hundreds of people filling the park.

First timer Tyler Vieira said he had a blast at the show.

“It was awesome!” said Vieira. “Great music, great food (at the Gulf Hill Bucket), and great people. As if seeing my favorite John, Paul, George and Ringo lookalikes wasn’t enough, the weather was just perfect and there was an incredible sunset. It was a great way to kick off the summer. I will be back next Wednesday.”

The concerts will continue every Wednesday until September 2, with acts like Bob Marley tribute band Jammin’ (July 8) and Eddie and the Exciters (July 15) set to take the stage.
