Instead of putting out fires, firefighters will be starting one for the 15th annual Pig Roast Saturday, Aug. 17.

But not to worry, they aren’t hogging it.

The Paskmansett Engine Company and the firefighters of Dartmouth Fire District 3 invite the community to join in on the feast starting at 12 p.m. at fire station located at 140 Cross Road. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Event tickets are $35 per person and children 10 and under are free. For tickets, call 508–994-6761.

Proceeds from the event will go toward local nonprofits, disaster relief and scholarships funds among other charitable causes.
