Grange to hold holiday market
The Dartmouth Grange will soon be transformed into a vibrant holiday market with locally made items for holiday gift giving.
The festivities will be held on Dec. 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
This show includes ceramics by Amy Thurber, photographs by Joney Swift, hand weaving by Megan Thomas, textile creations by Ruth Bourns, tea towels by Pat Poineau, jewelry by Diana Taft, knit wear by Penny Straker, watercolors by Carol Way Wood, confections including decorated cookies by Jim Kennedy, Ukrainian pysanky eggs, soap and local honey by Lucy Tabit.
The Grange will also feature a table with young artists, including Lila Goodchild and Emery Thomas’ lavender sprigs, Violet Maher’s decorated wooden boxes, David Schudrich’s glass torch work, Ben Thurber’s metal smithing, and Emily Edberg’s knitted hats and scarves.
The Spindle Rock River Rats will make a special appearance on Dec. 6 from noon to 2 p.m.
The Dartmouth Grange is located at 1133 Fisher Road.
