Greek food festival is coming Sept. 18, 19 and 20
The 5th Annual Greek Food Festival will be held at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church on Sept. 18, 19 and 20.
This three day food festival will feature a wide selection of Greek food and drink, cultural performances and a live band.
There will be Greek music on Friday evening, and a live Greek band will perform on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. There will also be dance performances by the Pawtucket Greek Dance troupe held on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Greek food is a prominent feature of the festival, including pastries like baklava and galatobouriko. A number of new food items will be offered this year, including saganaki and Greek fries.
There will be church tours held throughout the weekend for those who wish to learn about the rich traditions of the Greek Orthodox faith.
Saint George Greek Orthodox Church is located at 186 Cross Road.
