Grief Support at The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing
The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing is offering grief support programs this fall to help educate people on the process of grief and to share their experiences with grief and loss.
The Center for Hope and Healing provides a safe and supportive place for people to express their grief and concerns, while being helped through the process of healing.
They will be offering a support group for younger spouses in their 20s-40s which will be held on Tuesdays beginning September 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for six weeks.
They will also be offering a Forever in My Heart program for teens and young adults that have lost someone close to them. This will be held on December 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Also every Tuesday for six weeks starting September 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. they will be offering a coping with the loss of a spouse support group.
The center will also be offering a support group for the loss of an adult child on Mondays beginning September 25 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for six weeks.
On Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. the center will host an unemployed support group starting on September 27 for four weeks.
They will also be holding a Blue Christmas program to help people deal with loss over the holidays. This will take place on December 19 at 7 p.m.
The center also hosts mediation and mindfulness every Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
