Join the next Mass Audubon Summer Series session on Thursday, June 26 and learn of the challenges Tina Morris faced as a female pioneer in raptor biology.

Morris will share her journey as a young graduate student tasked with reintroducing bald eagles to New York State in 1976. She will speak on her experiences “mothering” seven eaglets and how her project not only helped save an iconic species from extinction but also shaped her own personal growth and career.

Attendees can also purchase her book in advance: Return to the Sky by Tina Morris

Coordinated by Mass Audubon’s Julia O’Hara, the 2025 speaker lineup highlights the intersection of art and nature. The series is made possible through support from the Westport and Dartmouth Cultural Councils, with funding from the Mass Cultural Council.

All talks are free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. Register at massaudubon.org/programs.
