Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary will host a snowshoe hike on January 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The hike will take visitors through the sanctuary’s Beach Loop Trail to the channel that feeds Allen’s Pond. The trek will be approximately 2 miles and will feature opportunities for winter wildlife viewing.

Participants are asked to bring their own snowshoes. If there is no snow, a winter hike will be held instead on the same date and time.

The cost is $10 for Mass Audubon members, and $12 for non-members.
