The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries will be hosting a presentation from a first-time backpacker who embarked on a six-month journey on the Appalachian Trail. 

On Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m., Sam Ducharme, a retired prison guard and long-time outdoor enthusiast, will be at the Southworth Library at 732 Dartmouth Street to share tales and images from the adventure that took him through 14 states and changed his life.

This event is free and open to the public.
