Historical society creates window guide for homeowners

Feb 12, 2018

The Dartmouth Historical Commission has created a informational guide to help owners of historic homes with their windows.

The 84-page-long handbook called “Rehab of Windows: Interior Storm Window Information” focuses on preserving, repairing, replacing or remaining cost effective with windows in historic homes. Some of the information provided comes from articles in published magazines and online sites like the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to a press release.

The handbook can be found at Southworth Library in the reference section or online at the Dartmouth Historical Commission website.
