Historical Society to host discussion on religions in Old Dartmouth

Sep 8, 2016

The Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society will host an upcoming presentation on Sunday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m.

The 90-minute presentation, featuring adjunct professor Pam Cole, will focus on Quakers, Baptists, and Congregationalists in Old Dartmouth. Cole teaches history at Bristol Community College. She is also the President of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Chapter of Church Women United, a national volunteer, ecumenical, racially-diverse women's movement of prayer and action. Cole has also volunteered as "The Church Lady"—broadcasting religious news on radio station WBSM—for more than a decade.

Refreshments will be served. A $5 donation suggested.

DHAS meets at the 1871 Russell's Mills Schoolhouse, located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.
