Mass Audubon will be hosting a holiday-themed sea glass and pebble art workshop on Sunday, December 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary field station at 1280 Horseneck Road.

Participants will be able to explore the variety of pebbles, sea glass and other treasures that wash up on the shore via a guided beach walk where they can collect pebbles, pieces of weathered glass, pottery and more.

There will also be some favorite pieces collected by Mass Audubon volunteers over the years available to view at the field station.

After the walk, participants will engage in a facilitated creative session where they will be provided with a canvas to create a unique, beach-inspired work of art, using the materials found on our shores.

Walkers will cover approximately 2.5 miles of uneven terrain outdoors. Please dress for a beach hike.

The program is limited to eight adults. The cost of the program is $25 per person for Mass Audubon members and $30 per person for non-members.
