Mass Audubon will be holding two holiday sea glass and pebble art workshops in December at its Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary location at 1280 Horseneck Road.

The workshops will be held on Sunday, December 1 and Sunday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants will be able to explore the variety of pebbles, sea glass and other treasures that wash onto the seashore along Allens Pond via a guided beach walk.

Collect pebbles, pieces of weathered glass, pottery and more, and explore some favorites that have been collected over the years at the field station.

After the walk, engage in a facilitated creative session to create a unique, beach-inspired work of art, using the materials found on the shore.

Materials will be provided by the organizers.

The walk will cover approximately 2.5 miles of uneven terrain outdoors.

The cost is $25 for Mass Audubon members and $30 for non-members.

This program is limited to eight adults. Registration is required. Register online at massaudubon.org or call (508) 636-2437 to register by phone.
