The Humane Society & Shelter SouthCoast and Art on Center will be hosting an art exhibition to benefit the shelter.

The exhibition will open on Saturday, June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. Deadline to drop off artwork is Wednesday, June 1 by 6 p.m.

Art on Center will be providing an 8-by-8 inch canvases to artists. Art does not have to be animal-themed to be displayed for sale during the exhibition. There is a $15 entry fee and Art on Center will collect a 30 percent commission on artwork sold. At your discretion you may donate all or a portion of your commission directly to the Humane Society.

Art on Center will also be collecting donations of pet food and items needed by the Humane Society throughout the month of June.
