Joyce A. (Counsell) Regis, 82, of Dartmouth died December 19, 2019 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Peter J. Regis.

Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Hardman) Counsell, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Dartmouth 6 years ago.

Mrs. Regis was formerly employed as a paraprofessional at New Bedford High School for over 30 years until her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Rhonda Regis of New Bedford and Roxanne Crowther and her husband Mark of Coral Springs, FL; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas O'Neill and his partner Jennifer Bertalotto, Daniel O'Neill, Alexis Crowther and Jacob LeValley and his partner Lexi Charkowski; 5 great-grandchildren, Ryann, Vance, Slade, Ryder and Arden; and a great-great-grandson, Royce.

She was the sister of the late Joan Inman and Betty Bottomley.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 27 at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Visiting hours are omitted.
