Join the Junior Bird Club at Mass Audubon Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary, 1280 Horseback Rd., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9. The Club is free and open to children and adults of all ages. Each meeting focuses on a variety of local species with hands on field study and guided birding walks. There are also opportunities to get involved with projects at the sanctuary. Dress for an outdoor adventure and bring your scope or binoculars if you have them. If not, the sanctuary will lend you a pair. Parents are required to accompany their kids throughout the program.
