Kathleen A. “Kathy” Anthony, age 56 of Dartmouth passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 4, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Blanche (Poirier) Anthony.

Born in New Bedford, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Science. Kathy was a pharmacist at St. Luke’s Hospital for 33 years and was extremely dedicated to her work.

Kathy enjoyed being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews whom she loved like they were her own children. She enjoyed family, particularly the Friday night get-togethers. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, especially family trips to Cuttyhunk. She was also an avid baker.

Kathy is survived by two sisters, Carol Hughes and her husband Robert of New Bedford, Nancy Kleinowskis and her husband Stephen of Fairhaven, four brothers, Paul Anthony and his wife Ruth and John Anthony of New Bedford, Thomas Anthony of Mattapoiset, Peter Anthony and his wife Cathy of Dartmouth; twelve nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Marc, Tracy, Michael, Kelly, Kyle, Elliott, Jacob, Jonathan, David, Lea and Morgan; five great nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, James, Catherine, Chase, Dorothy and Zoey. She was the aunt of the late Eric Anthony and sister in-law of the late Kim Anthony and fiancé of the late Robert Sherman,

Her visitation was held on Wednesday, August 7, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
