The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries will begin its Molly Little Art Film Series on January 22, 11 a.m.

The weekly film series, which will continue every Tuesday until February 26, will feature the three-part series How to Look at and Understand Great Art. As the series has been shown for the past two years, this year will include the concluding series.

The sessions will cover mannerism and baroque at the end of the High Renaissance, and ends with abstraction, modernism, and postmodernism in modern art.

The lecture series is led by Professor Sharon Latchaw Hirsch, president of Rosemont College since 2006.

There is no need to have seen the earlier series to enjoy the last series.

In the event of cancellation due to weather, two additional Tuesday showings are built into the schedule. The Southworth Library is located at 732 Dartmouth Street, and is handicap accessible.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries, and is free and open to the public. The lecture series is a part of The Great Courses curriculum.
