UMass Dartmouth’s Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives is hosting a traveling exhibition on the Azores through March 31.

The eight-panel exhibit, titled “Azores – USA: A Journey into the Future,” offers a synthesis of the history of the connections between the Azores and the United States beginning in the eighteenth century.

“We are proud to host this exhibit highlighting the many and nuanced connections between the Azores and the United States,” said Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives Faculty Director Dr. Paula Noversa. “I hope that faculty, students, staff and the community at large will take a moment to visit the Archives and view this important exhibit.

The exhibit can visited Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are encouraged to park in Lot 13.
