Notice is hereby given under M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 5 (The Zoning Act) of a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 in the Planning Board’s Meeting Room #315 of the Town Office Building, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA.

In the event that the Town Office Building remains closed to the public on that date due to an extension of the Governor’s ban on public gatherings during the COVID-19 emergency, the public hearing instead will be held remotely through the Zoom application and will be accessible for live interaction by the public using the April 13, 2020 Meeting id # 730-370-40.

The hearing concerns a warrant article for the June 2, 2020 Dartmouth Town Meeting:

Article A
To see if the Town will vote to amend § 375-28 of the Zoning By-Law, dealing with aquifer protection within the Aquifer Protection Districts and by replacing the Aquifer Protection Districts map as approved at the June 4, 2013 Town Meeting with the Dartmouth Aquifer Protection Overlay District map. This warrant article would update § 375-28 of the Zoning By-Law, by comprehensively revising the by-law to meet current regulations and terminology.
