REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Dartmouth Fire District No.1, Dartmouth, Massachusetts, acting through its Prudential Committee, is requesting proposals from qualified designers, as defined in M.G.L. c. 7C, § 44, for the planning and design of Additions and Renovations of the existing Fire Station DFD1 which serves residents of Dartmouth Fire District No.1, Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The estimated construction budget is $6,000,000.00. This RFQ is issued in conformance with, and subject to, the Design Selection Procedures that the Prudential Committee adopted on 6/28/23. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the RFQ which is available on June 28, 2023, by contacting: Architectural Consulting Group, Inc., 2206 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02745 or by email: acg@acgpm.com. Submission Deadline and Instructions. Qualified persons or firms are requested to submit proposals marked: “Designer Services Dartmouth Fire District No.1” with the applicant’s name and address on the front. Fax or electronic submissions will not be accepted. Qualified minority individuals and firms are encouraged to submit responses. All proposals must be received and registered by the District Chief’s office at 10 Bridge St, Dartmouth, MA 02748 by July 19, 2023 by 2:00 p.m. No proposals will be accepted after the time and date noted. If on the date and time of the submittal deadline the building is closed due to an uncontrolled event such as fire, snow, ice, wind or building evacuation, the submittal deadline will be postponed until 2:00 p.m. on the next normal business day. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on July 5th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dartmouth Fire District No.1, DFD1 Station, 10 Bridge St Dartmouth, MA 02748.
