Welcome in spring with the Lloyd Center for the Environment by volunteering to help clean the Center’s trails and property on Saturday, March 21 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Tasks include raking, and picking up and moving branches to prepare for burning, with tasks for both children and adults. There will be munchkins, water, and hot coffee for all participants.

Participants should bring their own gloves, loppers, leaf rakes and snips, although there will be tools available for those without any. Volunteers should also dress in layers and wear closed-toe shoes, and park and meet in the lower lot.

Following the event, volunteers can enjoy the Lloyd Center’s five miles of walking/hiking trails and property, bring a picnic lunch and eat at the Center’s pavilion located on the trails leading to the estuary, waterfront and dock.

Pre-registration is required. To register, visit lloydcenter.org/form-free-event-registration. For specific questions regarding the event, contact JoAnn at either (508) 990-0505 x 20, or jcornell@lloydcenter.org.
