Lloyd Center for the Environment is hosting its second annual holiday oyster sale.

Supporters can order fresh oysters by the dozen, shucking knives and/or cotton gloves.

Oysters are $25 per dozen and will keep well for 10 days with refrigeration. Shucking knives are $15 each; cotton gloves are $5.

A reusable, thermal Lloyd Center bag will be given to anyone who orders a minimum of a dozen oysters, shucking knives and gloves. After placing an order, an email will be sent with links to a shucking video and recipe for grilled oysters.

A portion of the proceeds benefits the center.

All orders must be picked up Sunday, Dec. 19 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the center’s welcome center, 430 Potomska Road. 

Orders must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15. Orders can be made by calling 508-990-0505, ext. 10 or by visiting lloydcenter.org/lloyd-center-2nd-annual-holiday-oysters-sale/.

Oysters are provided through Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms.
