For lovers of nature and art: Mass Audubon kicks off Summer Speaker Series
Event Date:
Mass Audubon is kicking off its annual Summer Speaker Series at the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary later this month, offering a season of free, art- and nature-inspired evening programs in the historic Stone Barn.
The series begins Thursday, May 29, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a presentation by Rhode Island artist Galen Snow titled “Art: Moments from Nature.” Snow, known for her paper montages housed in collections across the country, will demonstrate her creative process and share how the natural world fuels her artistic inspiration.
Coordinated by Mass Audubon’s Julia O’Hara, the 2025 speaker lineup highlights the intersection of art and nature. The series is made possible through support from the Westport and Dartmouth Cultural Councils, with funding from the Mass Cultural Council.
All talks are free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. Register at massaudubon.org/programs.
