Lydia Rose Bairos passed away on July 3, 2019 after a long battle with leukemia while surrounded by loved ones. She was 68 years old. 

Lydia was born in New Bedford, MA, lived in Lakeville, MA and Spring Hill, FL after residing in Dartmouth, MA for over 30 years. 

Lydia worked for the Registry of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years. She was a member of St Julie’s Billiart Church in Dartmouth, MA and enjoyed being at the beach, traveling, and spending time with family, friends and especially her grandson. 

Lydia was the daughter of the late Ramona and John Mendonca. Her family includes her husband Robert Bairos of Spring Hill, FL, her daughter Lynn and husband Eric Wilson of Lakeville, MA, her sister Ramona and husband Joseph Reynolds of Stuart’s Draft, VA, her brothers Norman and wife Chris Gomes of CA, and John Mendonsa of FL, and the late Leslie Mendonca, Gary Mendonca, Faye Reeves and Marie Pina. She leaves behind her grandson, Brock Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Burial will be private.
