The proposed medical marijuana dispensary, slated for opening in late spring at 508 Faunce Corner Road, will open in a different location.

Jane Heatley, president of William Noyes Webster Foundation, explained to the Select Board on February 27 that due to engineering and construction issues, she would like to move the dispensary to 350 Faunce Corner Road, which is where she originally proposed opening.

It is unclear if the change will delay the foundation's opening. Heatley explained that the cost of rehabilitating the existing building at 350 Faunce Corner Road is more beneficial than constructing from the ground up at 508 Faunce Corner

Last fall, Heatley signed a 25-year lease at 508 Faunce Corner Road, with the intention of opening a 10,000 square-foot medical marijuana dispensary there by late spring.
