Middleboro man arrested on drugs charges after car strikes tree on Faunce Corner Road

A Middleboro man was arrested on drug charges after Dartmouth Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident just after midnight on Saturday, June 15, according to Dartmouth Police.
The accident involved a car striking a tree in the area of 856 Faunce Corner Road, police said. While on scene, officers observed a baggie of suspected Psilocybin, which are mushrooms, and a large amount of cash inside the vehicle.
Upon further search of the scene, officers discovered pills suspected to be Oxycodone and Xanax, a Psilocybin chocolate bar, Marijuana vape cartridges, $1,262 in cash, a Glock style BB gun, a black ski mask and additional items believed to be used in the illegal sale of narcotics, according to Dartmouth Police.
The vehicle’s passenger, Shawn Walsh, 20, of Middleboro, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B, possession with intent to distribute Class E and possession with intent to distribute Class C, according to police.
