Get to know monarch butterflies at the tagging station at Allens Pond at 1280 Horseneck Rd. from 12 to 3 p.m. on September 29.

At this event, timed to coincide with peak monarch migration, learn more about the amazing monarch butterfly, how to properly handle and tag them and perform additional scientific investigations aimed at understanding their migration. This event is appropriate for all ages, 5 and up.
