While you walk along the Lloyd Center for the Environment trails, listen to local music at the 5th Annual Music in the Woods event on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Music includes the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Old Time Fiddle Session with Jeff Angeley and classic jazz by McMullen and the Mallicks. 

Guests can also enjoy ice cream by Tweet’s Treats while exploring the woods. 

The center encourages that guests dress to protect themselves from the sun, ticks and poison ivy. They will have a limited number of long-sleeve shirts available for purchase at the event. 

Registration is free for center members, and $50 per carload for non-members. The rain date for the event is Sunday, Sept. 28. The event will be held at the Lloyd Center trails at 430 Potomska Road.
