On Sunday, March 13, the Tifereth Israel Congregation will be hosting Dr. Maud Mandel as part of the SouthCoast Jewish Speaker series. Maud will be discussing Muslim-Jewish relations in contemporary France.

Mandel's research focuses primarily on the impact of policies and practices of inclusion and exclusion on ethnic and religious minorities in 20th century France, most notably Jews, Armenians, and Muslim North Africans.

A breakfast of bagels, lox and eggs will be available before the presentation, which begins at 9:30 a.m. The program is free of charge and open to the public.
