Upcoming construction could mean delays for nighttime commuters along Reed Road.

According to the state Department of Transportation, crews will begin a structural repair project on August 29 on the Reed Road bridge that passes over Interstate 195. Hours of operation are 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

On Interstate 195, lane closures will be used, but the setup will vary by shift. On Reed Road, traffic will be reduced to one lane.

The bridge deck and joint repairs are estimated to take four weeks, although the start and end dates are subject to change depending on weather.
