Nina Hunter DeLand, 41, of Portland, Oregon died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021. Born in New Bedford, MA at St. Luke’s Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Michael Hunter DeLand and Lisa Platt DeLand.

She was a long-time resident of South Dartmouth, MA where she enjoyed a beautiful childhood.

Survivors include her mother, Lisa Platt DeLand of South Dartmouth, her twin sisters, Kira Stuart DeLand and Laura Evans DeLand, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Due to impending tropical storm Henri, we have been advised to postpone the service for Nina DeLand on August 22nd at 2pm. We have rescheduled the service for the following Sunday, Aug. 29 at noon in the backyard of the Congregational Church of South Dartmouth, 17 Middle St. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you can all join us then.
